Commuter Panniers

You may not require a big commuter pannier for short distances if you are only carrying your lunch but if you do this daily a commuter pannier can make things easier.

What to look for when purchasing commuter panniers:

• Mounting to your bike must quick, secure and easy and does not interfere with the safe operation of your bicycle
• Big enough size to carry your computer, lunch, books, clothes or whatever
• Safety reflective strips or reflector as in the colder months you may be cycling when it is dark outside
• Pockets so you can easily organize and find items
• Some are garment style panniers perhaps providing a convenient hanger so you can hang your clothes
• It is important they be water resistant or as waterproof as possible
